The history of the Club

The beginning of the season of 2004 was marked by a great event in the life of the Russian Golf: on the 1st of May a new Moscow Golf Club started its work in Krylatskoe.
The Golf Complex is situated in one of the most beautiful places of the capital near the Moscow River, not far from the Serebryaniy pine forest and takes up 55 hectares.
There are 18 holes on the golf course. This nice course has been designed by the English company RMJM, famous for its works on golf courses of Europe and the USA. Architects Mazurin and Tapalevskiy placed the holes on picturesque neighborhoods of a high-water bed.
The tournament on mini golf with 57 participants was held on the opening day. The participants played the training round before the competition started to study the relief of the course. Then in the presence of guests and participants the deputy director Nikolay Vladimirovich Zhukov cut the ribbon to open the Club. The play started after the announcement of the participants’ names. Two rounds of golf with 18 holes took 2 hours. The guests and participants were invited to stand-up meal before awarding.
The first prize was given to Andrey Lisenko who made 72 strokes, Konstantin Rukavishnikov took the second prize with 74 strokes and the third prize was given to Victor Zhabin. Honorable mention prizes were given by the sponsor of the competition «Ãîëüô Ïðîôè». Alexander Polyanin was given the prize for his “Will to win”. Asya Donskaya became “The most active Golf Club member in Krylatskoe”. Six-year-old boy Ruslan Chernicin was “The youngest golf player”.
